Did you ever think you’d have to think about this kind of stuff? It used to be easy to build a house. Now it’s a whole lot more complicated because we have to come up with new, healthier ways of doing it. Robert Knowles Construction can make this easier on you.

To achieve new standards in energy efficiency, a building must be sealed extremely tightly to minimize un-controlled air exchanges. Ventilation is now mechanically regulated via air-exchangers that introduce fresh air. This tighter seal locks in unfriendly chemicals that may be hidden in materials such as carpet, laminates and vinyl windows. This doesn’t mean you have to have a sterile interior. It just means more thought has to be put into the types of materials used.
